The Napoleonic Code was a set of Civil laws established in 1804 by Napoleon. It's key qualities included laws of equality and freedom of religion/occupation, however, it took rights from minors and women. The Napoleonic Code was Napoleon's most lasting effect, as in 1960, over 70 countries modeled their laws after it.
