First House of Photographers: 1990
The House of Photographers started with individual efforts by photographer Issa Ankawi, who founded it in 1985. But Al-Anqawi received his license from the Society of Culture and Arts two years later with the assistance of its director, Abdulhalim Al-Radawi
In 1995, the House joined the International Union of Photographic Art, the same year that marked the beginning of the major activities that took place in the largest photographer’s exhibition, which brought together 25 artists. But the club shutdown later.
