Arab News on April 20, 1975. It was followed by Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper in July 1978. Hisham Hafez wanted to quote the methods and style of the international Tribune
Journalist Farouq Luqman co-founded Arab News, which was appointed as the first general manager of the newspaper, which started in a garage under the bin Laden building and included all the sections of editing, media, distribution, secretarial and translation.
