A collective defence pact created among the Soviet Union and its satellite states. Was made in reaction to the forming of NATO.The Cold War concept this matches to is Sphere of Influence. This is because if the countries are being "protected" by the Soviet Union, the USSR can influence the country's decisions in order to benefit themselves.
