Crowds of people trying to flee the country at the Mavlor border because of the Master Race, but Mavlor closed off their borders and are shooting everyone who tries to cross. The massive crowds cause people to get trampled. Menzu, really young, sees a young girl getting trampled on who he doesn't know and grabs her hand, and shields her with his own body. He does this for hours, and after everyone has finally gone, Menzu lays on the floor almost dying. His back is battered, bruised and bleeding everywhere. The girl tries to look after him, but doesn't know how. She tries to ask people but they ignore her. Then, a man comes and helps him, it's Luke. Bella is scared because she doesn't know who he is so runs away. She comes back after 1 year, because the armed forces chief found her and took her in. She is 8 years old. She goes back to him, and sees the man who was with Menzu. He turns and says 'Was it you who looked after him before?' Scared stiff she nods. He gets down to her face, and says something ('You've did a very good job, he's okay now. You're a good girl, please watch over him for me.' - But what he says and his face is revealed in the final arc. Lucifer comes in the last arc and Bella notices who he is.) then he leaves. (Lucifer taught Menzu how to become a martial arts master and look after himself in under a year; he's a true genius who's the best at hand to hand combat without SA in the world)
