This was when numerous catholic supporters, killed the French Huguenots that believed in religions that followed the protestant religions. Although, the Huguenots fought back, and caused more murder between the two religious groups and their strong religious views. Despite the war trying to end the conflict, it did the opposite and weakened the Catholics cause.
