St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre occurred when the Roman Catholic nobles and citizens were ordered by Medici to mass kill members of the French Huguenot minority. This massacre led to more tension and disputes between Catholics and Protestants and impacted the French Wars of Religion as more violence ensued. This massacre is grouped in SP because this revolt had an impact on the future development of the political stability of France.
