Alberta's "Famous five" were petitions in the persons case. The group included, Henrietta Muir Edwards, Nellie McClung, Louise Crummy McKinney, Irene Parlby, and their leader judge Emily Murphy. They made a campain for women to have equal rights and to be able to vote.
