"Adversus Praxean"Praxeas wants to say that God the Father is the same as God the Son. Tertullian summarises what scripture has to say on the relationships in question, and invents the term Trinity to describe them. The Montanists have just been condemned, courtesy of the same Praxeas, and Tertullian is not happy about this either.
