Paul Revere was the man who drew the famous "The Bloody Massacre". This drawing is what caused many people to believe that what happened on March 5, 1770 was a massacre, even though it was not. The drawing depicts British soldiers, also known as redcoats, shooting at innocent people, but in reality there were violent actions taking part on both sides.
