The battel of york town is when the french and the colonies teamed up to get rid of the british.
The way that this worked is thta they made a blockade in the water and also on land. THis means that tye were corned in boston. In the end, the british troops main General, Cornwallis surrended him and 9000 other tropps. Since he was the britishes best fighter, the war kind of ended there and the colonists won.
