The Stamp Act caused future events to abolish British rule. The Stamp Act was a factor to representatives wanting to prevent monarchy from forming in the americas new government.

This causes the making of the Articles of Confederation, which did not make a strong enough government to where it promoted the value in national authority more than local control in the U.S constitution
