11 ноя 2004 г. - Response to Intervention Approach

Описание:

The RTI Approach is an early identification method for students at risk for learning dependencies used by educators. schools, and districts, with the goal to eliminate the need for intervention late in one's education. While all students must receive adequate primary instruction before introduction to RTI, students who qualify enter the 3-tiered model at the level which they grasp concepts with the least direct instruction. Despite popular belief, RTI is not a special education class, but rather additional “scientifically research based instruction”, to close performance gaps of students identified at risk of learning discrepancies in their primary education class, especially in subjects of Reading and Math (Brice, 2018). Instruction is designed to decrease over time while assimilating students to general education classroom full time as soon as possible.
