The Boston Massacre took place on March 5, 1770. The Boston Massacre happened due to the chaos of the laws and taxes for the colonists. Since a group colonists went to go cause trouble with the British soldiers. The British soldiers fired at them causing to kill five colonists. Which later John Adams was defending the British soldiers in court.
