The WRC in 2011 was hosted in San Diego, California by Region VI and was titled "Anthology." The conference was a tremendous success selling out every spot they had. After attendance was maxed out at six hundred and forty four members and a waiting list was created, a first for the WRC. Planning for the 2013 WRC started in 2011 with Stacy Kippenstein from Montana State Billings being elected the chair for the conference. The host site of Salt Lake, Utah was selected and a theme was yet to come.
