Mezzo-soprano singing to an unfaithful lover (not cheating, just ignoring) - courtly love poetry

Strophic form = several stanzas with the same melody
Strophe = musical equivalent of a poetic stanza
Each stanza has same melody but improvised rhythm

Bar form = A A B
Two short A sections
B (the refrain) was frequently the longest in bar form songs

Ended by a tornada spoken over accompaniment
Tornada = statement/point of view/moral of the story
