My very first American school. I didn't know anyone and I didn't talk at all. This new experience was horrifying. I was the new kid in the class who didn't know any English, I didn't know what the teacher said, and I didn't know there were Nepali's in my class until they ended up helping me. Northwest Elementary was my favorite places because as the years went by, I had great teachers and great people to be with. Northwest changed my life and I love that I came to Austin.
