Sadly, the Umayyad rule over Maghrib came to a stop in 750 C.E. After over 100 years from the first conquest to Maghrib, it finally collapsed as the Abbasids came into power. Even the Ifriqiya had been seized by the Fihrids whom was the descendents of Uqba' ibn Nafi.
