Jamestown is a colony from England/Great Britain, founded on Virginian soil. It became the first official, permanent settlement once they found Tobacco plants. It was founded by 104 men, who then just gave King James the credit and were done with it. They had problems with starvation, sickness, and altogether poor leadership.
