The OLPC Initiative is a nonprofit organization with the goal of revolutionizing education by providing every child in the world with, as the name implies, a Laptop. Although criticized by big names such as Bill Gates, the movement created by Seymour Papert marks a fundamental shift in Information Technology, even if it is not an invention.
