With the slogans, "This is only the beginning," and "Apple reinvents the phone," Apple, the company that invented the iPhone, was marketing for a brand new kind a cellular device, one without a physical keyboard. With the iPhone, one could surf the web and type messages on its multitouch screen. The iPhone was discontinued on July 15th, 2008, with over 6 million sales.
