The U.S. looked to end the rule of Nazi Germany and take out the Nazi regime with the help of the allied powers. During World War II, the Allies used a variety of objects, including games, to smuggle goods in to prisoners of war. Games of Snakes and Ladders, and reversible uniforms that allowed soldiers to disguise them- selves as German officers—all these came into play.
