In the months leading up to June, more people are laid off in the health, financial and education sectors. By now, layoffs are starting to affect public education, the tech industry, blue collar workers, telecommunications, and the retail industry. The DOW has dropped from over 30,000 points to less than 5,000 points, in just 8 months. Overall, it's the worst recession in the 21st century so far.
