The Renaissance was a period of time after the medieval ages where art styles majorly changed and had effects on beliefs and religion. During the Renaissance, artistic styles evolved. Medieval artists believed religious subjects should be used to convey a spiritual idea. Renaissance artists believed that realistic styles should also portray religious subjects. They copied their style from classical models. Renaissance artists also used greek and Roman subjects. This change inspired many different beliefs systems like humanism, which mainly focused on human achievements. The Renaissance began in Italy and spread outwards.
