-Development: Semi-automatic pistols use one firing chamber that remains fixed in a position relative to the gun barrel.-Benefit: Semi-autos are more reliable than ever and no more prone to failure than the average revolver. And most importantly, semi-autos have two to three times the ammo capacity of a revolver of equal size and weight. The more bullets, the better.
-Cost: Resulted in many gun deaths / gang shootouts.
