Proclaimed that states that the used Medicaid were no longer required to fund abortion. It is important because abortion was separated from government funding and all women, then, had to pay out of pocket. The most influential viewpoint is that the government should stay out of abortion completely. The stakeholders presented here do not stand for a specific side (pro choice or pro life), but do not want the government to fund abortion clinics, like Planned Parenthood.
