Mental Health Discrimination Act (2013)- Repeals the practice of barring those who have suffered from severe mental health issues from serving on juries or as company directors. MPs who have been institutionalised for psychiatric reasons for more than six months are no longer be forced to stand down from Parliament as previously mandated in the Mental Health Act 1983.
