- Day 93
- Kate and Javier Garcia go out to find a propane tank which they discover is empty. Javi is attacked by a child zombie, Gabriel's friend Drew. Kate freezes up. Afterwards they start calling them 'muertos' meaning 'the dead' in Spanish.
- They head back and decide that its too dangerous to stay at their home any longer.
- Kate tells Gabriel about his friend Drew. They manage to convince the kids that they need to leave so Gabe and Mariana write a note for their father, David, in case he comes looking for them.
- They decide to leave early in the morning.
