As Mike Schmidt was about to quit his job, he found the news article about the pizzeria's animatronics being fixed, including Foxy, though the murderer of the four children and one missing child have yet to be found at this point. They had also brought back the Puppet from the FNAF 2 pizzeria. But the building has yet to be cleaned. So, realizing he has to pay his bills, he keeps his job.
