Sydon travel to Venus, which has become a scorched desert while the terraforming process continues. Here he investigates the remains of his grandmother, Luna Skye-Matthews. While here, he comes across "groundies": People who have abandoned Skye City and traverse the dried terrain of Venus, turning the bottom planet into chaotic anarchy.Sydon defends himself and rewires an old communications device that Luna had left behind during her repairs to get a message to Evelynn. She was able to get help and rescue Sydon and returned to Earth.
