A deep space vessel lead by a senior CREST team is ambushed destroyed by The Olc 5 ly away from Earth. Seen as an act of Aggression, The UFT shifts attention from Exploration to Militarization by enforcing ARM.The UFT sent an ARM squad to Titan after learning of what had transpired, setting up a military base there. The Gideon MK II crew was sent back to Earth.
Titan will go on to become a desolate planet. After the war, the planet became an emergency outpost for the UFT. With the Terraforming complete, nature was free to evolve with minimal involvement from man.
The Comharsa finished rebuilding their Citadel and left it to Earth as an "emergency" if they ever needed their help. As they begin to leave to Janus, Titan became little more than a graveyard covered in snow. A war never forgotten.
They body of Markus Siri was left on Mars with his family and after two years, they finally had closure.
