35 including the US and USSR sign some agreements to mark the high point of Detente. These include:
- The West recognised the boarders of Eastern Europe and accepted soviet influence in the area.
- West and East Germany officially accepted the presence of each other.
- The USSR agreed to buy US grain and export oil to the West.
- All countries agreed to improve human rights - freedom of speech, religion and travel.
