Chris, a father and husband, agrees that video gaming can be a serious addiction. His took him away from his family and kept him from being a dad. Chris began spending all his time outside of work down in his basement playing video games. They began skipping out on holiday and family events because chris would become so wrapped up in his games and be playing all day. His wife considered herself a single parent while his kids became afraid they would never have a father figure. It took chris a local outpatient treatment program that consisted of 90 days without his games till he was able to be a parent again.
