The assassination sent shock waves throughout the entire nation and world. Martin Luther King being such an influential and moving activist throughout the civil rights movement. The assassination sent a massive amount of outcry and anger throughout the nation from African Americans and eventually pushed equality between whites and Africans Americans to the forefront.
