Martin Luther King’s house was bombed, however his family was not hurt. He and his wife were in a room while their youngest child was in her room alone. As the bomb went off, their family was not injured, however violence erupted outside. A group of angry African Americans gathered with knives, pitchforks, and dangerous weapons, furious that one would take this step to hurt their hero, Dr. King.
