In response to the demand for taking out their self-driving cars from the road by California regulators, Uber released a statement saying that self-driving cars' accidents are because of human error in poor decisions in the car. Although Uber believes this, many videos have been released of self-driving cars attempting to dodge traffic by plowing their way on the sidewalk. This event is important because it calls for self-driving cars to be taken off the road because of their lack of safety.
