Jane Addams is best known for helping found the Hull House in Chicago. The Hull House was founded in 1889. This house is known for helping immigrants learn how to live in America. It helped them with education, learning about the American culture, and learning the English language, and other things. Jane was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1931 for her work in peace activism and social reform.
