During the morning of May 9, known as "Goku Day" by the Dragon Ball community, a YouTube premiere suddenly appeared on the Smash Flash Devs YouTube channel for a "Goku/Update Announcement" regarding Beta 1.3.2. This turned out to be a full showcase video with new reveals for the forthcoming demo, which was revealed to actually be Beta 1.4 and launched the same day.

· King Dedede as a new character
· Multi-Man Battlefield, Palace of Twilight, Dedede's Arena, Snowpoint Temple, Jungle Island, and Training Grid as new stages
· Crate, POW Block, Coconut Gun, Gust Jar, Bomber, Ore Club, Shield Monitor, Fire Shield Monitor, Bubble Shield Monitor, Lightning Shield Monitor, Potion, Poison Dagger, and Icewing as new items
· Resprites for Meta Knight, Lloyd, and a bunch of stages, along with many miscellaneous animation updates
· Tails and Goku moveset reworks
· Costumes for Zelda, Sheik, Meta Knight, Falco, and Goku
· Race to the Finish as a new game mode and a revamped Classic mode
· Visible hitbox toggle in Training mode
· Extensive changes to engine, visuals, character balancing, stage hazards, music, and more
