In ths chapter Matt is discovered to be a clone. Matt had foot had been cut by Glass when he tried to break a window In order to play with the other children. Later, when they're cleaning the would, they realize that Matt has writing on his foot. "Property of Alacran Estate." He is discovered to be a clone by Mr. Alacran, stating "You idiot! You need a vet for this little beast!" and "How dare you defile this house?"
