the 1830 revolts in Italy were for a unified Italy. Nationalism was on the rise, and a series of insurrections sprang up. Many political figures, such as Francis IV, and Louis Phillippe stated that they would not distinguish revolts for a unified Italy, and would even stop Austria from interfering.
