American primatologist and conservationist Dian Fossey publishes her book "Gorillas in the Mist" and five additional articles focusing on her work understanding gorillas. Her writings were published between 1972-1883 before she was sadly assassinated on December 26, 1985. Fossey's observational studies on primates has become some of the most influential work in modern animal behavior history.
