Between 3000 B.C. and 2500 B.C., a lot of Sumerians city-states were in the rule of dynasties.Sargon of Akkad conquered Sumer around 2350 B.C. and created the first empire that lasted 200 years.Hammurabi was ruler of the Babylonian Empire from 1792 B.C. to 1570 B.C.The Babylonians were invaded by Kassites and they ruled Babylon for 400 years.
