25 set 1580 ano - Francis Drake returns Francis Drake was sent by Queen Elizabeth to raid Spanish ships. He set out on the journey for three years and was the first Englishman to circumnavigate the globe. He was knighted by a French nobleman to become Sir Francis Drake.
