Lenin wrote and introduced his April theses
which included:
1. End all co-operation with the Provisional Government
and with any other party that was helping the Provisional
Government (including the Mensheviks and Socialist
Revolutionary Party)
2. A campaign to end war; it is a war between capitalists
that had nothing to offer the proletariat except death
and suffering
3. The nationalisation of all land; the landlords’ estates
would all be taken away and given to peasants
4. Educating workers and peasants so they could see
that power must go to the soviets - then they must take
state power from the Prov Gov and abolish the police,
army and bureaucracy.
5. Industry should be controlled by the soviets, with all
banks combining into one state bank.
