This period of time would be characterized through the spread of Greek culture across civilized cultures. At this time classical realism would be replaced with greater heroicism & expressionism. Even with the political and military downfall of Greek City States, they would keep the status of Greek sculpture being the finest ever made such as the Altar of Zeuz at Pergamon.
