Conflict of Orders- (20 lugl 287 anni a. C. – 20 lugl 49 anni a. C.)

Descrizione:

Rome had held an unstable way of governing their rules/laws. This was known as a struggle between the Plebeians and the Patricians. The Plebeians had rebelled to gain political rights. After they marched out of the city, the Patricians had no choice but to compromise due to the lack of production they needed to keep the city going. Their army would be helpless and Rome would be no longer functional. In return, the Plebeians were given rights to elect Tribunes, gained power to veto or overrule actions by the senate, and elect a lawmaking body called "The Council of Plebs".
