In March of 1982 the Sabbat took Phoenix. Fearing for his new unlife and new-found power Chuy fled to Mexico with Rosie Zapatero. For most of the next two decades Chuy lurked in northern Mexico, mostly Nogales and Chihuahua with the occasionally trip to Tijuana. While there Chuy befriended a coyote named Franco Montenegro. Together the two concocted a scheme to keep Chuy fed and Franco well paid….once Chuy returned to the States.
