This decade is often referred to as the “Me” decade and was strongly influenced by policies during the time period. The youth took an approach of “returning to normalcy” and people often wore unisex clothing. This was a combination of many time periods as women wore short and long skirts at the same time. Casual blue jeans were often very popular for men to wear along with sport jackets.
