Amos I (23 agos 58 anni – 7 marzo 194 anni)

Son of Nephi III, he kept the record after the death of his father. He was obviously a righteous man, but the entire span of his life is covered in three verses.
We are told that he took the records when his father died. We are told that he kept the records for 84 years, during which time there was a division among the people, giving rise to some calling themselves Lamanites. Then we are told that he died in the year 194, after keeping the records for 84 years.

As it is likely that he was in his 20's when he was given the records, this places his birth around the year 90, and means that he lived over 100 years. However, when considering his father's age, it is likely that he was born closer to the year 80. Then we consider that the people at this time were living in a perfect society, and we can well conceive of people living to great ages (like Abraham in the Bible who lived to be 180 years old).
Here I list him as being born in 58, when his father was 49 years old. With his death in 194, he lived to be 136 years old.
