Descrizione:

Yuan was China’s first foreign led dynasty. It was established by Kublai Khan, leader of the vast Mongol Empire. This period in China strongly revitalized Chinese culture and politics but the social rank of the Chinese plummeted to the bottom. Kublai, taking on the role of Emperor, encouraged trade and communications with lands beyond China and permitted freedom of religion.
